Daniel Koester

BACKGROUND

Daniel joined The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2016.

A 1998 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Daniel served as an associate editor on the Law Review and was a proud participant in the Urban Law Clinic providing free legal aid to low income residents of the City of Detroit. He became a lawyer to help people, fight for justice, and protect the rights of his clients.

Daniel is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Association of Justice, and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He has also proudly served as a case evaluator in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.

Daniel lives in Farmington, Michigan with his wife and 13 year-old daughter. He enjoys reading, volunteering at the Call Sam Kitchen for Veterans, golfing, and napping.
